Intelligent Quick Switch (iQS) is a FOX technology that provides instant suspension adjustment reaction timing on the fly with the push of a button for Polaris 800/850 Pro-RMK REACT and Ski-Doo Summit (REV GEN4) snowmobiles, Can-Am Maverick UTVs and Jeep Wrangler JKs.
But what does that mean for you, and what does it look like? In a nutshell, FOX iQS enhances vehicle safety, efficiency, control, convenience and performance. Let’s look at the basics, using our electronically-controlled snowmobile iQS suspension video as a tutorial.
Electronic modal damping control via a Bosch SCU (Suspension Control Unit) provides full-range adjustment in less than one second, offering wide-range adjustment characteristics. Let’s means no getting out of or off your vehicle to adjust suspension for varied terrain.
Our Jeep Performance Series 2.0 iQS shock offers on-the-fly compression damping adjustment from inside the vehicle. Our iQS 3-position rocker switch adjusts all four corners simultaneously with Soft/Medium/Firm settings. The aluminum smooth body shock delivers FOX’s industry-leading performance in a direct fit, easily installable package. Its heat reducing design includes an impact extruded clear anodized aluminum shock body that dissipates heat faster than a conventional steel body shock.
The FOX Jeep Performance Series 2.0 Shock Kit includes four shocks, iQS switch, control module, wiring harness, and mounting hardware. The external reservoir allows for increased oil and nitrogen capacity while delivering striking race look. The race-developed high flow damping piston matched with instantly adjustable application specific valving provides the Performance Series 2.0 iQS shock ride quality capable of handling everything from the roughest road conditions to the smooth open highway.
The FOX Can-Am Maverick X3 iQS upgrade kit reuses your original equipment FOX 2.5/3.0 internal bypass shocks or the FOX Factory Race Series aftermarket upgrade shocks (885-08-119 and 885-08-121). The system was designed to hold up to the most demanding environments, with critical components such as the Bosch ECU being rated to IP67 standards. Upgrade kit includes the harness, control unit, rocker switch, and four base valves.
iQS not only allows you to adjust the shocks on the fly from the driver’s seat, it also allows FOX to provide a wider range of adjustment in the electronic valve. This means you can put the full functionality of your shocks into use based on terrain you want to tackle without having to stop to make an adjustment.
